  • Antique Extract of Orange Bottle, Kitchen Decor Collectible, Rawleigh's Apothecary, Old Bottles, Cork Style Closure Druggist Bottles, American Manufacturing Collectible, (Discontinued)
  • Made in USA
  • Antique:  1895 - early 1900's (estimated)
  • Details:  This bottle contained 3 fluid ounces of Rawleigh's Extract of Orange, now empty.  This product was used to add flavor to pies, caked, ice cream, etc.  This is a clear bottle with the original label in pretty good condition, with some discoloration.  It's molded glass, (has 2 seams), doesn't look like the seems go up the rim, but we're not experts, we've photographed it at various angles for your review.  The glass has a light smokey, grey tone to it.  It was a cork closure style bottle, and embossed "44" on the bottom.  We dated it based on the bottle shape and other details, plus the Rawleigh's history of when they started making these extracts.  Again, we are not experts, so please do your own research if the bottle date is important to you.  Would make a nice gift for a bottle collector, a history buff, or for display in a kitchen.  A collection of old bottles makes a cool display on a windowsill or used as vases for flowers.
  • Dimensions:  Approx. 6.5 inches Tall, 2.75 inches Wide, 1.5 inches Deep. Holds 3 oz
  • Material:  Glass, Paper (label)
  • Condition:  Antique - Used.  Very Good Antique Condition.  There are no chips or scratches on this piece.  There is a "divot" on the rim, looks like a chip, but it's not, it is smooth, most likely a manufacturing flaw. The original label is in very good condition, except for discoloration, it has very little damage.  All as acceptable due to age/use/wear.  Apologies, the bottle was still a little wet when photographed. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
